Traditional Stuffing

Pretty traditional stuffing, but I like it. It is on the sweet side, however. Also I usually leave out the prunes, but this is how the original looks:

Melt margarine in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery; saut‚ 3 minutes. Add prunes and apples; saut‚ 3 minutes. Add bread cubes; toss and saut‚ 3 minutes. Sprinkle with poultry seasoning and drizzle with broth. Cook about 3 minutes, tossing occasionally. Season with orange peel, salt and pepper. Serve with poultry or pork.

Makes 4 servings (about 4 cups)
